Why are the holes inverted?
The holes on your Lever Belt are made like this on purpose to keep the belt tight and secure with the hooks.
The two hooks of your Rise Metal Lever will go in the circle holes and the circle prong part in the oval ones.
Why oval holes for the circle prong?
When you are breaking-in the belt, the metal hooks will stretch the circle holes to find their natural position, having the oval holes ensure that the circle prong will have space.
